Special Event - Part One:
A two-part screening of the series "A Chance to Be Saved" and a conversation with director Doron Tsabari
For 11 years, director Doron Tsabari followed musician Eviatar Banai with a camera in hand. What began as documentation turned into a shared, intimate, and raw journey into the contradictions that make up the life of one of Israel's most acclaimed artists: between light and darkness, between the love of God and the love of the audience, between creative peaks and the fear of emptiness.
"A Chance to Be Saved" - a journey into the light and darkness of Eviatar Banai, is a sweeping television series about creation, inspiration, and faith. The journey of a man who lost his way and found his God and the love of his life in the darkness.
